I am a regular customer but have not purchased fish for a while as have to be careful with my finances. However last Wednesday (17th) I had friends visit and asa treat decided to have fish and chips. However all three of us were very disappointed with the quality of the cod. A small part of the middle of the fish was lovely and white however the rest was very thin, dry and chewy and had to be binned. Ordered Gluten Free fish and chips tonight and a GF battered sausage which was amazing. Also ordered a large haddock and chips (normal not GF) and the fish was fantastic. Easily fed two people. The fish was really thick and flaked perfectly. Very good value.
