Very friendly and good quality service and excellent beer / cider. Very convenient for the railway station. I love going there. Convenient for poundland and Iceland stores. Good sized beer garden
Characterful town pub with an interesting history, a decent selection of craft beers and lagers. Not the cheapest pub around but reasonable considering it's university city location. A nice beer garden is available to enjoy a summer drink

They don't do food but more than welcome to bring something in too eat as long as you buy a drink the bar staff are amazing and the atmosphere is typical old pub style not a plastic pub so if you're up for a bit of old fashioned banter and can take it back this is the pub to be in price's are reasonable
