We have been wanting to visit White Horse since it opened in November, with the first impressions of the decor and ambience clearly giving an insight into the skill, dedication and love that has gone into refurbishing a historic venue.We went as a table of 10 on a Wednesday evening, and were seated in the upstairs dining area, which was very welcoming (though I did have a wander around and every seating area was impeccably thought and laid out.Both waitresses that served our table...read full review

What sets this place apart from most other pubs and bars in Lincoln is the selection of drinks available. Additionally the snug area makes for a great place to hang out. Good selection of cocktails and food make for a perfect all rounder. Big thanks to the staff who always make me feel looked after.

So many of the pubs in central Lincoln are rowdy, noisy, crowded and impersonal. Not so with the White Horse. Full marks to the barman who offered me a taste of a new beer before I bought a pint...it was delicious and we thoroughly enjoyed our time there. Honestly, I don't think you'll do better
