It’s a ‘proper’ pub with friendly manager and staff. Don’t expect high tech or brand new furnishings, it’s well-worn but authentic and genuine. I will definitely stay again when working in this area. I also had 2 large bacon baps made the night before for me as I had to leave very early in the morning. Good, well priced food and menu there! It is dog-friendly too.

Not very clean room curtains wasn't hanging probably.. shower room not been cleaned . Wardrobe door didn't even shut... Fan in bath on all night... When turn over in bed the headboard hit the wall... Bed base not looking it's best. There was ash and tobacco on window still... Rails on stair very dangerous as loose.. Definitely need and lot of work on the place.. will never stay there again. Don't think it's worth the money my partner paid...

On entering room I needed toilet only to discover someone had already been also the toilet was dirty and hadn’t seen bleach in god knows how long. The curtain was hanging of and net on window had black mould and a rip were they were that old . Sticky stain marks next to bed obviously hadn’t been cleaned Headboard wasn’t attached to bed . The bed base was dirty bed linen had a stain on it when I pulled it back. It was appalling it hadn’t been cleaned at all . We did not feel comfortable going down stairs in a lively pub to confront landlord (pub manager) so slept in our clothes I should imagine the nice comments are NOT from guests????

A quiet local in the centre of Long Sutton. There is a dedicated pool room with its own bar, a nice beer garden at the rear. Found it a friendly place.

In the pool bar the glasses on the shelf behind the bar looked filthy and the whole pub looked dilapidated no food available which was probably a blessing the hotel room was basic but clean with TV kettle fridge

Very poor housekeeping the bathroom was filthy, the toilet sink and shower all in need of a good clean, bedroom comfortable but very basic and budget bed and bedding , cannot accept poor housekeeping so would not stay again

Awful place to stay .. our family room was above the sports bar, was told it closes at 23.00, at 03.00 the noise, music and language was appalling, messaged the landlord at 01.00 they said they would ask them to keep the noise down, the noise continued until 04.00. There was no ventilation in the bathroom, none of the windows could be opened as all the window handles had been taken off, not suitable for children or anyone that wants a nights sleep.
