Didn’t stay in hotel but had a delicious Sunday lunch with family in their spacious restaurant. We brought some overseas visitors to try their locally sourced ingredients. They were very impressed with their quality lunch and what a delightful location too

Great place, nice to have a pub like this still, rather than the characterless chain pubs everywhere. Pool table, juke box, sport on the tv, a good drinks selection, nice food now also, friendly staff.

Would like to say the food was delicious and piping hot and very generous portions. Service by Sophie was professional and very friendly and she happily wrapped up the food my partner struggled to eat so he could take it home. The gravy made by Dan was heavenly. The price was reasonable and worth every penny. We will definitely be back.

Came on Sunday for a carvery with my partner & step daughter they had never been before. Although the queue was large for the carvery which you'd expect on a Sunday, it moved very quickly. Absolutely beautiful food. Definitely My favorite for a carvery now. Thank you.
