The Watts Arms
Main St, Ottringham, HullAbsolute gem of a place, customer service was fantastic. The lady running the kitchen was so bloody nice and treat my dog to a Sunday dinner. Nothing was too much trouble and food portions were HUGE. My partner has autism and usually struggles with new places due to sensitivities to fruits and vegetables so always asks for things plain, and it is one of the only places that has actually given him what he asked for the first time without him becoming stressed at the thought of asking for something to be changed. The young lady who took his order was clear in her understanding of what he asked for. Maybe small things to some people but huge to us as food is a massive trigger for him. Thank you to such a great team for making us feel so welcome. Will definitely come again soon. Five Stars ?

Black Bull Inn 2022
Main Rd, Burton Pidsea, HullWe ate here last night, fish chips and mushy peas and hunters chicken. The BEST ever I have had and I have hunters chicken everywhere I go. The staff are very welcoming, we will be back.

Blue Bell Inn
Main St, Keyingham, HullWe went with friends for Sunday lunch. They don't have the Sunday roast or carvery like a lot of places, but this didn't bother us as we are not massive fans of carveries. Three had steaks, and one had the large gammon. They were all very good. The service was good considering they were quite busy. Will go back.

Halsham Waterside Cafe & Farm Shop
Dalton Ln, Halsham, HullPopped in while in the area ( rented cottage in Ottringham). Coffee and bacon/egg sandwich. Had dog with us so used shelter outside. No heating but out of the rain. Pleasant staff who told us about local attraction ,Constable Mausoleum. Parked car , walked around the ponds with dog and up to Mausoleum and All Saints Church. Pleasant couple of hours spent.

The Ship Inn
Main St, Keyingham, HullThe ship inn is a traditional village pub. There is a good range of beers, lagers, and cider, cask conditioned hand-pulled real ale, a nice beer I hadn't had before, which was in excellent condition. The staff are friendly and welcoming. There is a nice cosy bar with a pool table, dart board, and TV. Outside, there is a beer garden with plenty of seating and a car park.Parking: The pub has its own large car park.Wheelchair accessibility: The entrance is flat and the pub is all on one level.
