What a lovely little pub. Atmosphere was so friendly and welcoming. Moved to the area last year so still exploring eateries etc. Sp pleased we found this one. Food was so tasty and well presented. Will definitely return to this lovely pub.
When visiting family in the area we popped in for lunch. We ordered 2 jacket potatoes with fillings and 2 panninis. Good service and friendly. Good tasty portions and a good price. A good place for lunch.

We had a lovely meal at the Axe. Service was great, nice staff. Food was lovely, the lasagne was the best I’ve ever had and I have tried a lot?. My husband and children had Pizza and they were also really impressed. Thank you, werl be back.
