Over 13 years ive been coming here when it was great British cafe to All things nice and now to Royal Cafe and boy has it gone down hill ive been in a couple of times over the last few months and i use to order on just eat all the time when that was available ive been in just to see if they were having an off day but no recently ive been disappointed ive recently had the shepherd's pie that comes with veg chips or mash and gravy usually in a little pot u can pour urself this time it was just the shepherd's pie with chips no veg and gravy just poured all over ive had a jacket potato that comes with salad and Coleslaw this time i was given just the jacket potato with the fillings nothing else yesterday i went in with my daughter ordered the jacket potato and it came with a whole new salad but no Coleslaw now told u have to pay for it my daughters omelette that normally comes with salad and Coleslaw no Coleslaw for above reason but also the bacon in it was hardly cut pulling out near on slices of bacon in her omelette i ended up deciding i would pay for Coleslaw and asked for some to have it slapped on a plate that was bigger than the plate my dinner was on in the first place i believe the gentleman didnt charge me for the Coleslaw in the end but my over all experience recently has left me not wanting to return.

Use to love to eat in this places, but lately service start to get worse. Starting from cutler or glass wasnt washed proper and food that they running out of pork chops or coleslaw what its happened today.

We went for breakfast and the food and service was lovely. The only thing I didn't enjoy is that everything is dirty, the doors, walls, tops of splashbacks at tables and the sugar dispenser. It all needs a good clean. Even the outside of the teapot didn't look washed. I will return as the food was worth it but hope to see it deep cleaned and maintained.

My girlfriend and I just went there yesterday for my first full English breakfast.The breakfast was delicious - we both had set 1.Only the banana and strawberry milkshakes we ordered weren’t the best; were more just flavoured milk rather than a milkshake. Still good though!Will go here again! Would recommend. Workers were lovely.
