Clean, friendly helpful staff. Order taken promptly. Food arrived very quickly. Good portion size for the price paid. Excellent value for money. £6.95 for fish, chips, mushy peas, bread & butter and large pot of tea with extra water! In this day and age with the cost of living, absolute bargain! Chips hot and not greasy. Fish tasty, batter crispy and grease free. My husband thought it was one of the best cups of tea he's had in a long time! ?
I enjoyed the fish and chips with mushy peas, service was quick and efficient and the restaurant was very busy as was the take away service staff were very friendly and attentive. I used to go there quite often before the lockdown and I will definitely be going again regularly, the batter was crisp and tasty and the fish was delicious the chips were cooked to perfection. This restaurant is well worth a visit to all who have never been there try it you will not be disappointed

Spotted this chippy/ restaurant whilst strolling round Scunthorpe on a sunny freezing ? day. At £5:50p takeaway fish n chips n peas I thought it must be a kiddies portion. What a surprise.
