“Stumbled on this spot as it was handy.May not be much to look at but excellent food and great value for money.Had a two course meal that we thought was incredibly reasonably priced only to get pensioner rates on top.Wish we were locals!!They certainly deserve the business.”

“Excellent atmosphere and outstanding food all in the quaint, picturesque village of Messingham. Vegan burger was herbacious and was accompanied by chips and salad. The generous portion accompanied by a large bar selection. Staff was friendly and accommodating! Don’t miss this gem in Lincolnshire!”

“I only popped in on the hope of some food as I was stuck in the village overnight.OMG !!!!! Characters everywhere. I would love this to be my little local. There was laughter inside and outside the pub. I had scampi and the chips were bob on.Landlady was very pleasant and food was quickly served. It wasn't Gordon Ramsey food, it was what pub grub should be, plentiful wholesome and cheap. I hope I get stuck there again as I should have opted for the minted lamb pie. I wish the establishment all the very best”
