This is one of the best country pubs in the area. The staff are really friendly and so are the patrons. The landlord keeps his real ale impeccably well, which is a change to the usual drab you get in other places.Great atmosphere in both the front and the back rooms. As soon as we arrived the lady behind the bar was kind enough to strike up the log burner for us.Prices of the beer are reasonable and cheaper than other places in the area. Highly recommend to visit if you are passing.
Always a good place to chill...bring your dogs, they're always welcome.Love this pub, staff are amazing, helpful and always professional...never miss the opportunity to call in ?

Stumbled on this spot as it was handy.May not be much to look at but excellent food and great value for money.Had a two course meal that we thought was incredibly reasonably priced only to get pensioner rates on top.Wish we were locals!!They certainly deserve the business.
