Really lovely place, decorated well inside and kept original features, gorgeous wooden bar. Looks a little outdated from the road which is deceiving. Food was delicious and well presented and staff were really nice. Dog friendly in the bar. Would definitely recommend.

Came across the pub quite by accident but what an excellent find. Beautiful food, very friendly and caring service and a warm fire going to add to the experience. Highly recommend a visit if you’re in the area. We’ve booked it for Sunday Lunch. Thanks guys ?

What a beautiful pub! Spacious, welcoming, atmospheric and with an impressive inglenook fireplace. The staff were very welcoming and our service was excellent. The food was beautifully cooked and presented. I had the posh fish finger sandwich, which was delicious and a very tasty home made tomato soup. The lemon baked Alaska was the perfect ending to the meal. I’ll definitely be back!

Excellent place to eat with a lovely atmosphere. We had a family gathering and had the Christmas menu. Good choice on the menu and very reasonable price. We all enjoyed our food apart from the sprouts, which we all agreed were a little unpleasant, but otherwise great! Good quality food, good size portions with plenty of veg and a lovely atmosphere with friendly and helpful staff. We have eaten here quite a few times now and it never disappoints. Merry Christmas to all staff and thank you for your service!

Lovely old pub/restaurant. A bit quiet tonight, but it was only 5pm. My son and myself ordered the Special Fish and Chip meal, the fish was absolutely gorgeous, not sure whether the chips were made from scrap, but they were ok. Peas, mushy peas, what can you say. Other son had the minted lamb pie with mash and peas. He said it was awesome. Will definitely go again.
