Had cake and a coffee. We asked for cake and a brownie but received 2 cakes. ??

Lovely looking cafe, but disappointed with the Very slow service for just a bacon sandwich as cafe was not busy 25mins, also dry bread cake and you would think a cafe on a farm would have fresh milk no UHT carton milk.Shame ad in wonderful location.

I have come here for breakfast a number of times. The food, staff and service is always excellent The food is always piping hot and cook to perfection. The staff are very friendly and made sure I had everything I needed. This is definitely a great place to go

Wonderful place for a spot of lunch. They were extremely busy but it didn't stop the food being delicious and the service was friendly and very quick , I had the homemade leek and bacon quiche which came with salad and was worth a revisit. Wish we'd had room for cake. A gem of a place!

I can’t say enough positive things about this little place. The menu was good, with a specials board and a fantastic range of cakes (with gluten free and vegan options). However, it was the lovely staff that make me want to return in the near future. They were clearly busy taking orders and prepping food, but made time to engage with every customer there. It was a far cry from a few years ago, when it felt like you were an inconvenience just being there. If you were also put off by this in the past, give it a second chance now.

The wonderful staff provided a buffet for our family and friends following my dad's funeral at Alkborough church. They opened up especially for us and provided a beautiful environment for us to chat and share memories. The buffet was perfect with a plentiful supply of tea and coffee. We are all very grateful.

Had a great experience at the paddocks tea room on our visit to Alkborough after exploring the village, alkborough flats and Julian bower. The salmon and cream cheese bagel was what I had for breakfast and it was amazing.
We arrived as a large group, very accommodating, staff lovely, food very nice ?

Booked for a Hen Weekend Afternoon Tea after a long walk. Service was fantastic and the food was great. We loved the homemade scones and cakes. Had enough food to take home in a goody bag. Would highly recommend visiting!!
