Inside is basic no frills, has one loo which is good.Food cooked fresh and came to table nice and hot. Service good, staff friendly. CASH ONLY tho. Had to get money out from cash point.Hubby had large cod, medium chips and a hot chocolate.I had a portion of Scampi and a Latte, really tasty food.
This is a nice fish and chip shop / cafe where you can eat in or takeaway and is value for money with a variety of options from the usual fish and chips to other options such as fish fingers, chicken nuggets, sausages, scampi,pineapple fritters. The food is cooked to order so is as hot and fresh as you can get but you do have to wait because of this but it’s worth the wait, parking outside is limited but there are plenty of car parks nearby

You can usually tell how good a place is if it has a decent queue, it shows that it's worth the wait. The sea chef is a place that serves good food all year round and if you're in Chapel Saint Leonards, give it a try, nice staff too!
