“We walked into town from Greylees this morning for a nice dog walk and breakfast. We were recommended the Watergate Yard from FB recommendations. On arrival (10.40 ish) it was actually shut and wasn’t due to open for food till midday. However, the staff decided that was we’d made the effort to get there, they agreed to cook our breakfast for 4 people and serve us nice hot drinks. The food was great and they went above and beyond for us and even cooked an extra sausage for our dog. Certainly recommend this place for food and great service. Thankyou x”

“Have not visited for a while as I am not local. I’ve just had the breakfast and it was absolutely lovely. The chef is a bit cheeky but you can’t beat a bit of banter. Highly recommend. Booking recommended for indoor seating as it is a very popular venue.”
