We booked for Sunday roast as it was local to our weekend stay and to be honest I did it more for convenience as it didn’t appear to be the sort of place we normally go but I saw the reviews were very good.We were very pleasantly surprised to have a lovely meal. I think the fact they only do roasts on a Sunday means they can make everything perfectly. My husband thought his beef would be tough but he said it melted in his mouth. We arrived at this lovely pub it is a very friendly place and the bar area is really nice We ordered food and ate in the bar area The good is not good here Very over fried and not much taste our meal let the pub down as the atmosphere and staff were great

Went with friends to this lovely little Pub and we were pleasantly surprised very good choice on the menu The fish pie was to die for piping hot and full of ingredients also the steak pie looked special and the staff was very attentive all this for a reasonable price will be returning in the near future
