We went with some friends for lunch. I am gluten-free, and the choice on the menu was exceptionally good. I would certainly recommend it and will be visiting again.Dietary restrictions: There is plenty of choice for gluten-free food

We booked for Sunday roast as it was local to our weekend stay and to be honest I did it more for convenience as it didn’t appear to be the sort of place we normally go but I saw the reviews were very good.We were very pleasantly surprised to have a lovely meal. I think the fact they only do roasts on a Sunday means they can make everything perfectly. My husband thought his beef would be tough but he said it melted in his mouth. All our vegetables were perfectly cooked and very tasty. The meal was served quickly and there was plenty of food. Also really pleased to see they do small plates.All in all we would certainly come back if in the area again.

Food is exceptional and the Abbott Ale likewise. They keep the beer realky well, perfct temperature, not chilled, and wellserved also.

We arrived at this lovely pub it is a very friendly place and the bar area is really nice We ordered food and ate in the bar area The good is not good here Very over fried and not much taste our meal let the pub down as the atmosphere and staff were great

Went with friends to this lovely little Pub and we were pleasantly surprised very good choice on the menu The fish pie was to die for piping hot and full of ingredients also the steak pie looked special and the staff was very attentive all this for a reasonable price will be returning in the near future

Today I and 2 friends went to The New Inn Folkingham for a late lunch. We decided to try the steak and ale pie. I have never had a pie like this one. There were huge hunks of tender tasty beef cooked to perfection. It was absolutely delicious and if you visit this pub and it’s on the menu, I can heartily recommend it. It’s a first class pie 5 ⭐️ And if the Haddock and chips are anywhere as good as this, that’s going to be the next meal I try. All in all it made a wet and miserable day excellent.

Wow, wow, wow!! What can we say, the New Inn have just done the buffet and bar for our granddaughter's 21st birthday party in the village. The buffet provided was out of this world, the selection of food on offer, the quality and quantity provided were outstanding. Everyone at the party commented on the food and couldn't believe the spread. Brian and Leo provided a fabulous bar service with many guests enjoying the rare opportunity to try Thistly Cross cider. A massive thank you to Kate for everything she has done. X
