While out cycling we called here for a coffee. Great reception and welcoming staff. We were able to bring our bikes into the garden area which was appreciated. The pub looked lovely inside, (we sat outside), and we will definitely return. Many thanks

Nice traditional feeling pub surroundings. Good for food or just a drink. Welcoming staff. Enjoyed the Seniors Special menu (Tues to Fri)

This is a lovely pub, doing excellent traditional pub grub. So many have disappeared or been turned into gastropubs with tiny portions and inflated prices. The Horseshoes is just what we needed. Restored my faith in pubs. Doom Bar was A1, gammon superb. Will 100% be back.

I ordered an all-day breakfast (served from 12) on a Sunday - which isn't normally avaible on a Sunday, but the chef kindly agreed to do. It was delicious! Great quality bacon and sausages, a fresh egg and tasty other sides included. With a pot of Yorkshire tea, it was about £10 and really did exceed my expectations in terms of value and taste. Swap out the cheap toast for a slice of sourdough and it would be 5 stars for sure!! The perfect accompaniment to a weekend bike ride, soaking up the sun!

My first time visiting pub , it has a nice cosy feel to it , clean and tidy . Nice decor. Staff friendly and polite. The food was very nice and well presented . The food wasn't quite right, but they resolved it swiftly .Will definitely be going again .

We opted for a “posh” restaurant, but that was full!! Second choice, the Horseshoes in a local village. Well this should have been the first choice, pleasant staff, great location, it even has a log burner, my favourite. Now the food, absolutely delicious, chips were out of this world, great burgers, I had extras of course! The scampi, I was told, one of the best! This is the sort of pub you want next door to your house, please try if you are in the area.

A lovely meal as usual, great service, nice choice of real ales and a wonderful
First class family pub, restaurant, bar snacks and an excellent selection of real ales with an entry in the good beer guide 2023. The menu is varied from snacks, silver sufer to steaks with weekly pie selection on the specials board. Very dog friendly with a treat for every well behaved dog and a bowl of water always available from the amazing staff.

Great village pub/resturant we attended an 80th birthday party which was brilliant with a super live band and 70's retro food (chicken, scampi or sausage in a basket) ? would highly recommend ?
