One of the very few garden centers where the staff are genuinely interested in the plants and flowers they sell. Always a complete pleasure to visit.I was looking at the Clematis History of Pennells, I never knew they have over 20 Clematis their founder bred and are still available around the UK.Give Pennells a visit, you certainly will love the whole experience.
I visited 20th feb 2024 there was 4 of us for lunch at about 12:45. It was very busy and had a queue of about a dozen people. The two lady’s serving worked through the queue in minutes absolutely awesome service. It got better. To our amazement, within 12 minutes of ordering, our food arrived and we all very much enjoyed the food, fresh, hot and tasty. A fantastic restaurant.

Lovely place. Had a nice roast beef Sunday dinner and pudding. The cake counter looked very tempting. Got a couple of bargains from garden center. Will visit again and highly recommend. Staff in restaurant very helpful.
