Came here for a Sunday Carvery. They are only open on Sundays and you do need to make a reservation.Atmosphere was a bit rowdy but that is not something you can predict although the table allocations could have been done differently to separate families from adult-only groups and couples.Opted for the beef and pork, plus a sausage in bacon, and helped myself to potatoes, veg and gravy. Sadly not one component of the plate was up to the standard I was expecting. Meat was very tough and overdone, potatoes were ok although the mash was underdone and lumpy. Gravy was watery and bland. Overall, I've had a lot better for the same if not less outlay than the £15.95 they charge per adult.The only saving grace for me was that the staff were polite and we weren't kept waiting.

Lovely Sunday carvery. Managed to squeeze us in even though we didn't book. Just spotted the signs on the main road and dropped in. Great value and filled us right up. Nice beer and friendly staff.

I recently went to a wedding at the Red Lion Newton Lincs, It was was a fantastic place to hold a wedding. They held the wedding ceremony there plus the lovely wedding meal also the night time party with extra food during the night. They do different packages for different levels of wedding requirements. we were lucky to get one of the three rooms to hire for our overnight stay with a lovely breakfast. The lady (Leanne) who runs the weddings here is so helpful and can't do enough to make your wedding run perfectly, she has loads of experience with weddings and helps it all run smoothly. It's a one stop wedding all incuded in one place. I would highly reccomend this venue it has everything you could possible need for you wedding.

We were here for our son's wedding. What a great venue for it. Out in the Newton countryside, with lovely, well maintained gardens.It has a dedicated annex for hosting wedding celebrations which was really lovely. The staff were great and there were plenty of them. The food we had here was also first rate. Great job the Red Lion! Many thanks.
