One week ago today, 30 fellow classmates and teachers met for our annual KSHSG reunion.Under the new ownership, the recent improvements were noticeable and we appreciated all the effort and care that went into making our reunion extra special.The room looked fabulous and provided just the right ambience and opportunities for mixing and mingling. Thirty meals came out at the allotted time thanks to an army of chefs beavering away in the kitchen. The meals were efficiently served to the correct person ensuring the delicious food was piping hot.Everyone had a wonderful time and plans are already in place for our 2025 reunion.Thank you Vicky and the team for an excellent first class service

Booked a special anniversary meal for 18. Thank you Alfie for looking after us so well. Everything we asked for was done and the food was absolutely delicious and of a very high standard. Canapes to share first with a glass of fizz and then main course and dessert were pre-ordered. All meals came out together allowing all to eat at the same time. I would recommend this restaurant for all your special occasions. You will be looked after with care and consideration by all.

This was the first time we have eaten here and tbh, we probably won’t be back. Can’t fault the staff - they were very attentive and efficient. We both had soup of the day to start - it was spicy carrot and was really lovely. The main courses were very disappointing. My partner ordered the ribeye steak and although it was cooked the way he likes it, there was an enormous lump of fat in it - yes we realise that ribeye is generally a fattier steak than others, but this was too much. I had the butternut squash risotto but the chunks of vegetable in it did not resemble or taste like squash. It was more like swede and the chunks were quite hard. We had one drink each with the meal and the total cost was approximately £68. All in all, a disappointment.

Absolutely stunning since its been updated by new owners they have done amazing it is beautiful inside the staff are all brilliant and food is stunning!
Lonely place and drinks.Really stupid idea to switch round the make and female toilets. It caused a huge line and meant that guys had to go outside… not sure why this was done.

This was the first time we have eaten at the Solo. It was an excellent meal, the staff were efficient and friendly and this was on an extremely busy night with lots of diners! We are looking forward to our next visit!

Hopefully just the night our group was there but was half hour late sitting down as the group before were very slow in finishing. There was a singer who was excellent preforming straight behind us with very loud music making it impossible to converse with anyone on our table. Food was very good.
