Lovely welcoming, cosy little pub. They have a nice log fire in there as well which gives it that nice warm feeling atmosphere. It was raining when we went in so was really nice to be welcomed with a smile from the bar staff in a nice warm environmentParking: Parking just opposite in the square but can only park there for a max of an hour during the day

Absolutely wonderful pub. Fantastic, smiley, efficient service. We had the haddock and chips and Guiness pie and chips. Well cooked and plentiful. Relaxing atmosphere. Would wholeheartedly recommend. PS: fabulous chips!Parking: Don't miss the quick turn into car park, at side of pub.

An honest pub, not trying to be something that it's not, beer is good and smiths scampi fries (if you know you know).

Absolutely loved this place, very friendly staff and nothing was too much trouble. Fancied a fish finger sandwich, delicious side salad and homemade coleslaw,my friend thoroughly enjoyed her lincolnshire sausage sandwich, again with side salad.Toilets immaculate, will return, keep up the excellent work.Dietary restrictions: My friend has an intolerance to dairy ,staff could not do enough to help.

Only gave it 5 stars because I can't give it 6.Food was out of this world, I've never had beef as tender and as tasty as that. All food made to order.

I along with my wife, our dog and another couple have just returned from what was a fabulous meal and night out at the Nelson Butt Spilsby, we along with about two hundred others missed out on a pre booked Valentines night at the Butt as a result of a mechanical failure in the kitchen. I rebooked for the first available night after this and we were treated like Kings and Queens, Ellie, Erica (top chef)and the rest of the serving staff really pulled out the stops even allocating us a separate side room so dear Scooter, our beloved dog could come with us.A very nice touch thank you.The food the welcome the atmospher just could not have been better. Very fair prices not a single thing could have been bettered. Well done to you all and thank you.

Good pub, but cant always get to the bar if busy due to bar stools, would be better if they were not there. Not had food.

It was a cold rainy day and when we walked in there were 2 lovely roaring fires, so welcoming. The food was amazing, I had the Nelsons pie and oh my it was so tasty and the banoffee pie was heavenly. All homemade food and reasonably priced.

What an amazing pub, superb service and everyone so friendly. Apparently a meeting place thriving with locals and visitors. We only ordered drinks so can't comment on the food but will definitely revisit.
