What an amazing pub, superb service and everyone so friendly. Apparently a meeting place thriving with locals and visitors.We only ordered drinks so can't comment on the food but will definitely revisit.
Having stopped for a drink previously in the week, we decided we would try this pub for dinner. We rang them earlier in the evening to book a table, and they said they had a big group booked in but they still managed to squeeze us in. The pub and garden are both dog friendly, we sat in the very inviting beer garden. Food was great! Good quality pub grub, very generous portions. Reasonably priced for the size of the meals. It was a cold rainy day and when we walked in there were 2 lovely roaring fires, so welcoming. The food was amazing, I had the Nelsons pie and oh my it was so tasty and the banoffee pie was heavenly. All homemade food and reasonably priced.
