“Food and drinks are delicious, but portions quite small and not all menu items available. Service is friendly and helpful but forgetting - said to come back in 2 minutes to take our order and disappeared.

“Cracking pub with really high quality food; wanted to rate as a four as the drinks prices do seem very inflated when compared to similar pubs in the area - but my visit was faultless other than slight downside. Will be back!”

Great decor and well presented venue, although a bit of a funky and unpleasant smell around the stairwell accessing the downstairs area, potentially an issue with drainage?

Staff were friendly and professional, drinks cost about the same as you would expect anywhere else, also a few cocktails on offer.

Unfortunately marked down for the atmosphere, although this was pleasant at first this seems to be one of the hot spots for the younger crowd who seem to struggle holding their alchohol. As the night went on there seemed to be quite a few people carrying attitude, and also a couple of scuffles broke out downstairs where the event I attended was taking place as the "regulars" had found their way down. In the end me and my partner left the event early as could see how it was going and the atmosphere turning for the worse.

All in all I'm sure it's quite a nice place if you visit at the right time, I'd recommend avoiding at the peak times over the weekend though.”
