The Hare & Hounds have a wide menu to suit mist tastes, it is delicious and caters for special needs like Gluten Free options when requested. Having just returned from a holiday in Cornwall I called to see if I could get in for a roast on Sunday 24th September. He managed to squeeze me in a couple of hours later. Once we got there the Barmaid clearly wasn't expecting us but was quick to set us up a table so wasn't a problem. This is about the 4th or 5th time we have visited for a roast and both had the roast lamb this time. It was gorgeous, so tasty, piping hot and plentiful. Popped in for a pint ended up staying for Sunday roast.The beef was excellent as was the dark gravy.Washed down with 3 pints of Timothy Taylor and a glass of their Pinot Noir!! Both a good choice... then a nice walk back to Baston!!Dietary restrictions: Gluten Free available
