Absolutely lovely country pub that does amazing food. If you fancy a weekend away somewhere out in the nature and peaceful atmosphere with character, this is the place. Not only that they tend to have live acts and the landlord is absolutely hilarious. Warm welcoming place. 5*Rooms: Rooms are lovely and clean. Feel very homely.Walkability: Great access and parking. Exceptional welcome and very well decorated. Really accomodating and a good atmosphere. Food excellent. Piping hot, well balanced and good portions. Will certainly visit again! Thanks to all.

Set in a quiet location not too far from anywhere.Lovely greeting and got checked in. Shown to my room which was very comfortable with the usual things. Guide, TV kettle biccies coffee machine. Nice ensuite with shower, heated towel rail etc.The pub/ restaurant was cosy with a good selection of beers, wines, spirits and soft drinks. The menu was varied with a good selection of dishes.
