“Went to see a talk about vikings, proceeds to a young person's charity, there were a couple of speakers and reenactment experts, very friendly atmosphere I had an IPA, the place is out of the way, toilets are of a novel construction but worked! Great night, nice to get out would recommend.”

“Popped in at about 7.30am with my kids after getting off the ferry. The small cooked breakfasts were exactly what we needed. The lady cooking and serving was really lovely and chatty. Quiet at that time.”

“Breakfast was spot on....sausages to die for...and eggs that are obviously free range purely by that vibrant orange colour...not forgetting the price at £5.80 for a medium breakfast including a round of toast and a mug of tea....go on...treat yourself to one of the best breakfasts in Birkenhead....my number one cafe from now on .....Ged McNamara”

“Lovely, clean and friendly coffee shop... we had a breakfast that was really nice, there was only a couple of things I could find fault with, the scrambled egg was very dry... if that was improved I would definitely give this place 5*.... Great big pot of tea for two only £3.50...cappuccino was nice, shortbread had too much sugar very sweet... but over all great place for a breakfast or light lunch or a cuppa and a cake.?”
