A580, Haydock, Saint HelensTravelling along the M6 you _could_ go to an overpriced, soulless corporate service station… or you could hop 2 minutes off J24 to this gem of a place. Just looks like a standard industrial estate cafe from the outside but inside you get a lovely clean well cared for environment with superbly cooked, generously portioned and reasonably priced food served by friendly people who actually care about their work. ‘Twas Halloween when we visited and the place was stylishly decorated with tonnes of attention to detail, even down to the cute ghosty table decorations and the pumpkin soap dispenser in the loo. Looked like it had been with a great deal of love and care.

The Indian Palace
Unit 1 Branch Way, Haydock, Saint HelensStopped by while staying at a local hotel. Excellent service and good range of menu choices. Ordered Poppadum to start followed by King Prawn Madras, Pilau rice and a plain naan bread. Meal was delivered very promptly, although that was to be expected as there were relatively few customers at the time early on a Monday evening!!\n\nCouldn't fault the meal or the prices. Would certainly call again the next time I am in the area.

Domino's Pizza - Haydock
Unit 2, 286 Church Rd, Haydock, Saint HelensI don't normally buy Domino's as it is far to over priced but they had a deal on. The pizza were delicious and hot! Plenty left for lunch the next day too ?

Spicy Balti Indian Takeaway
262 Church Rd, Haydock, Saint HelensI've recently moved to the area within the lastb12 months and I've tried almost every indian takeaway and this place is the beat by a country mile. The base sauce they use is awesome, they don't use too much oil and every dish I've tried has been perfect. My personal favourite is lamb madras extra garlic extra potatoes. I've also had the north Indian garlic chicken which is also fantastic. The jalfrezi is also perfect.
The staff are friendly and the food is authentic. Best place I've found for not only quality but great value too.

Top Pizza
60 Sherlock Ave, Haydock, Saint HelensI haven’t lived in haydock for long I found top pizza and love it ! I order regular it is never a long wait the food has been fantastic I just had double cheese burger and it was the best I have tasted in a long time , my husband is hooked on the kebabs and pizzas from here Thankyou top pizza :)
