I called into the shop about an hour ago, Monday 11 September for a bag of chips. One of the ladies was about to ring in the sale when the other lady stopped her, saying they couldn't sell me a bag of chips on its own, I'd have to order something else too. She muttered something to the effect that it was 'because of the chippy up the road', nodding her head in the vague direction of Crispy Cod and Jade Garden. Food was OK for a takeaway. Was told 40 mins delivery. Waited 1 hour before calling to be told 15 mins. 30 mins later called again to be told on its way. Arrived after 10 mins. Called again as the rice was missing. 10 mins later we got the rice. Never again.
We ordered from here and were given approx 40 mins delivery time but had delayed delivery of 1hr 45mins. It is mothers day so I have to give some leeway as they may have been busier than usual. I phoned the restaurant who were very polite & friendly and gave me a more accurate time for delivery. Food came 20 mins later. Food was tasty but was lukewarm, and as the food came in tubs meant it was a little sweaty. Would order from here again but would do collection next time (1st...read full review
