I can't remember the last time I enjoyed a meal so much. I ate three courses of which the starter and main were huge portions but I couldn't stop as they were all so delicious and ate the lot. My dessert was basically ice cream with a rich toffee sauce and digestive biscuits crumblings over it, just enough to finish my meal off and all washed down with 2 glasses of house Merlot.
Lovely little restaurant in Rainhill Village. As I have Coeliac disease I have to be very careful about the menu, but I had no need to worry at all. We rang and booked a table for my husbands Birthday and explained about my dietary requirements which weren't a problem. Lovely lady greeted us and showed us to our table and explained if I would like something from the menu she would double check everything with the chef that it was GF and even said he could probably adapt the dish....read full review

Our first time at this restaurant and certainly won't be our last. Went for an anniversary meal and wasn't disappointed. The food was as good as any restaurant we've ever ate at, including Michelin & Rosette. Service from Emily was excellent and she took the time to chat and give advice about the local area. Look forward to returning :)
