First and last time! I can’t believe how poor the food was, dry, chewy, flavourless, microwaved and served boiling hot!I can only assume that it was heated up from a few nights ago, so I would say don’t go early to mid week!I should’ve went over the road for a kebab and paid a third of the price.Felt sorry for the staff because I had to vent my disappointment but I understand they’re just doing as they’re instructed. I paid close to £30 each because I didn’t want to cause too much hassle for them as there was no higher management available to complain to.Note to management- if you can’t manage fresh food mid week or during quieter periods then don’t open! I understand costs and expenses come into it but you have customers paying good money for really poor quality food!We won’t be back and I could not recommend !

Food was not worth 32.50 ! Absolute rip off! It’s cheaper and better in Liverpool for same type of food. Place looks cheap where you eat, like a 2*hotel abroad! Bar area looked quite nice tho! Even tho cocktails were like juice. Don’t get how the bar is nice but toilets and eating look like an old social club. Buffet food was god awful too! Literally looked like they’d been Aldi! Stingy with the meat too, only offered the meats once! Wasn’t all you can eat at all! Avoid avoid avoid! Only giving it 2 * cos the waitresses were lovely!!!

We went here last night 2 dec 2023 with work colleagues the waitress came over and asked us for our drinks menu which we waited for at least half hour the place was absolutely freezing I didn’t find the buffet very hot plates were cold and the ladies toilets was like being outside it was that cold I noticed people were not staying after the meal because it was that cold I can honestly say I won’t be going back

The meat was amazing ? I was dubious because we went early but were offered everything quickly, and it was cooked to perfection.The salad bar was replenished and replaced regularly... the mushrooms are a must!!!

Me and my partner went here tonight and just wow!! The food was amazing!! The cocktails were lovely too, I read a few bad reviews so wasn't expecting much but omg this place will definitely going to be my go to place for date night or a girls night! All the food was so tasty, the staff was so attentive and welcoming! The owner was so lovely, she made us feel like friends, and even recommended other restaurants in the area to try too! We will 100% be back very soon.

Extremely pricey for St Helens but great food and service, not sure it is good value for money at over £100 to feed 4 people and with a single drink . I suppose if you are going to starve yourself and then gorge out you’l get your moneys worth.

Where to even begin… I would rather eat my nans hip replacement than have another slice of that rump steak, In fact any other meat from this establishment all together. Don’t even get me started on the buffet selection!!!! Cold chips with red salt on ? Iceland’s own onion rings. The men on the meat didn’t have a clue how to use a knife! Never mind cook the meat… I’ve had juicier tree bark! (Cal) As soon as I stepped in this establishment I assumed the food was cold( I was right) I seen a review beforehand stating that there was no seasoning on the meat, they was wrong… it appears they took a trip to the polish salt mines and took inspiration from there! Rump steak took me half hour to chew it up before the tissue decided it would have more use in there. I’m a man who appreciates and respects people for there work wether it’s bad or not but genuinely reckon me brother could do a better job on cooking a slab of meat (I don’t have a brother) Just reckon these lads need a couple day course on how to cook meat and carve it, nearly grabbed the knife me self it was that painful to watch. God bless them tho can’t knock a tryer (Chaz)

Used to love this place now this place has gone down hill £30pp is a joke! Meat was just full of salt and hard, beef jerky is softer. Steak is awful and chewy couldn't eat it, no wonder the place is always empty

Rude waitress, food was awfull tough meat, very salty, ripped seating, tried to have a adult conversation about our 150 pound bill, to be litterally told tough,Dont mind paying for decent food and enviroment, needs to be shut down like the one in warrington, which i didnt know till after we had been ???

If you enjoy food avoid.Meat was salty and tough. Steak is awful and chewy, couldn't eat it. pork was so salty it was inedible. Unless you want too loose weight, as good inedible. AVOID AVOID AVOID

My first review on Google and hopefully my last. For my partner’s graduation, we had booked a table the week previous post her ceremony. The day before our reservation we rang to double check everything was okay as well as adjusting some details. We were assured everything was okay.Both phone calls were with the owner of this “restaurant” who, during our first phone call, completely forgot to even ask for a time for the booking.On arrival at 7:30, we were told no such booking existed. Unbelievable. We were also told the business closed at 9pm. Not the 10pm as shown on their website and Google.After a half hour of the owner trying to fix the problem they themselves made, a half hour that included staff swearing at us, throwing phones and even plates around the restaurant, we called it quits. Childlike behaviour that is completely unacceptable.Unbelievable experience, truly. I’ve never experienced anything like it and I hope I never do again. Maybe the food is nice, I will never find out.
