Just a pub , work on your food what you show in the pictures in the menu is not what arrives.You could get a better burger at Mac Donald’s I had to drown in tomato sauce to give it some flavour and make it edible.

Disaster from start - My daughter had to work Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, so booked a family Christmas meal for 4 pm on Boxing Day, only to get a text late morning saying kitchen was closing at 4 and could we come at 3:30 and order quickly. We agreed, then came another message that we would be ordering off the normal menu. Tried phoning - no answer. Replied saying we had booked the "Festive Fare" only to get another text that this was pre-order only. Checked the confirmation email which confirmed the booking for Festive Fare but NO mention of having to pre-order. Bit the bullet and decided to proceed. Only positive - they had reserved a table. However left us sitting and never told us we had to go to the bar to order! Daughter is gluten intolerant and when ordering a starter, which contained no allergens was told we couldn't have it as only used one fryer! Then two orders weren't available and no boiled potatoes. The we were told that because the kitchen was closing the starters and main would be served together!!!! The food - Ok When paying the bill they FORGOT the deposit already paid on booking. Perhaps they should concentrate on what their strength, a nice pub! Let's just say when next visiting St Helens it wouldn't be on our itinerary. Hugely disappointing!

Me and my son come all the time absolutely disgusting food warmed up bread stale. Chicken warmed up like rubber chips defo warmed up. Will not be eating here again after this experience.

My wife who is a wheelchair user and I went for our lunch. When I explained the situation the lady in charge asked would I like the ramp at the door. With the ramp in place it was relatively easy to get my wife into the building, it was the same after our meal. We both enjoyed our meals and will be going back in the near future. Thank you for your help.

Service slow don't serve in bar talk other side ??. Don't go to play pool £1.50 a game bar staff say pay by card but will accept cash £1.50 .... £1.50 cash.. thats why regulars sit on table and not play on it.. still dear at £1.50 to sit on ....Lol...Will not rush back there for a drink.. ..? staff miserable... and be prepared to wait in bar if ordering cuz you will not get served if you don't go and ask in lounge to beserved?? Why ??. Would not recommend after my experience staff miserable .....¡¡》●■
