Pubs in Saint Helens

“We popped in on a Monday lunchtime & although the pub was already busy, we were able to find a table. Service at the bar was very friendly and efficient. The food was absolutely delicious - I had the lasagne (with excellent chips) & Th'Usband had the Talahassee Chicken with rice. The food came quite quickly and had clearly been freshly cooked. The portions were very generous and our meals were delicious. They were even kind enough to serve us a takeaway portion of jam roly poly, so we can enjoy it when we're not so full! This was our first visit but won't be our last.”

“Came over from Dublin for the weekend to celebrate my sister and brother in law 60th wedding anniversary. Their only a few months living in Eccleston and this is their new local. We've been twice,4 of us on Friday, and 9 of us Saturday, both nights were fantastic. Food menu is lovely and price point is great. Staff are friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back. Thanks everyone.Vegetarian options: Unsure ,but my niece was happy with it.Wheelchair accessibility: Ideal for wheeling straight inside”

“Haven't been for a while but I was missing the onion ring horse shoe so thought I'd give it a go. Food was quite nice especially for the price. I got the onion ring stack, salt and pepper chicken and halloumi fries, and also got a fish finger kids meal for my little girl, who rated the peas 10/10. Big portions and like I said it was a pretty good price, I wouldn't complain about anything the food was pretty standard. The onion rings and dips are definitely what keep me coming back though. Great place to go for food with the family, the staff were nice and polite. Pretty average wait on the food maybe took a little while longer than you would have thought, I think it arrived an hour after ordering but the pub was quite busy.”

“We hired the room out for a family party, the food was provided by the pub, it was excellent, and really nice and plenty of it. There is also a children's play area. Prices are average. Would highly recommend for a function, or just going for a meal.Kid-friendliness: They have 2 play areas one outside with swings and obstacles course and inside its like an obstacle course, like in jungle bungle.”
