Use this pub before a Saints game, really friendly and all staff know who’s next when it’s packed plenty screens for sport and music fantastic beer garden and atmosphere. Very sad the local council have got their grubby mitt’s on it.
It would be a travesty to lose this little gem. I'm not a regular by any means, but have been using this place on and off now for nigh on 30 years. It's more than just a pub, it's a hub for the community. Ive never seen anyone overtly intoxicated, merry yes and friendly certainly. The local authority really needs to listen to the dissenting voices who desperately want a place to unwind and put the world to rights after a hard day's work. Been on 2 occasions now with my partner who is disabled when going to the theatre lovely traditional pub with friendly punters and lovely bar staff would be a sorry day to see a true pub
