This Christmas Eve, I came into Caffè Nero for a warm drink and a snack as a treat for my family. We got mince pies for my son, but a-soon as he put his fork into his pie a hair had been embedded inside with cream covered and dripping off the sides. And the drinks were cold to touch. I really didn’t want to complain due to my social anxiety but I felt I had to. this year has been very difficult for us parents with money and trying to make are kids happy. And all I wanted to do is at least give them a good Christmas this year and with the money I have got from my elders to give them the Christmas they deserve, i went here but I was very dissatisfied.

We visit Neros at least twice a week. I was so pleasantly surprised by this little handwritten Christmas card this morning. Thank you Caitlin and the team.Management changed not long ago and it has definitely been so much more pleasant to go there staff/service wise since. The new manager used to work at the other Nero in town and i have had nothing but a great experience whenever served by her, she leads by example and it has really shifted the culture of service throughout the whole staff.The only thing i must say is that the place ( downstairs) is in desperate needs for a make over. This is not down to staff but ownership.Southport is a coffee shop town, Neros is located perfectly and conveniently in the middle of town, a refurb would really boost up business and make it so much easier for the team to keep on top of cleanliness.Nevertheless thank you to the team for always welcoming us. so dirty.We have very nice town Southport why we haven't nice clean and tidy coffe,?Why? Close for repair all of them Costa, Nero ,Starbucks too.And open nice ,tidy and spotless coffe shop.Because it's not possible to eat or have coffee there,discasting.

I went to caffe nero today and got a luxury hot chocolate which was £4.30 and the cup was absolutely tiny i will never be going again and i would not recommend

Oh dear, what's happened here? It's absolutely filthy. I understand why customers prefer to sit outside on Chapel Street rather than in. Dirty tables, worn out laminate flooring, knackered furniture, paint rubbed off walls, litter and cigarette butts blown inside (and ignored), you get the picture! It's so uninviting. Surely this needs a visit from an area manager and a serious refurbishment done, pronto!We like Nero because the coffee is consistently better then the independent cafes who often serve something that resembles dishwater, not even vaguely tasting anything like like a proper espresso coffee. Nero are baristas and get it right, BUT given what you pay these days to sit in their shops, the surroundings count for an lot, and we couldn't wait to leave. Wipe your feet on the way out! Lord street Nero comparatively much, much nicer... cleanliness, decor, staff, service etc. Enough said!

Use regulary when in Southport for Coffee and sit Outside.Needs a Good Refurbishment, looking Tatty.Well used by Shoppers etc, in a very central position.
Excellent staff, very pleasant and helpful.Comfortable surroundings.Didnt eat , just had drinks. ?

TERRIBLE STAFF SERVICE...STAFF HAVE A BAD ATTITUDE..!!! the place is so so dirty..I ask staff to clean a table and they became aggressive!!! I left and went to COSTA COFFEE across the road COSTA COFFEE EXCELLENT QUICK SERVICE AND POLITE STAFF ... !! ASLO TOILET DISGUSTIN !!!

Visited at lunch time fairly busy.staff coped well with a onslaught of people in queue.tables cleared quickly both inside and outside clean toilets and dog friendly. staff..pleasant and helpful.Wheelchair accessibility: Room in cafe to move around and good sized toilet on ground floor
