We've been to this venue for 5 years now for Christmas Lunch. They forgot the butter on our 3 starters, The meats are lovely, roast potatoes and parsnips very very pale and mushy. The food was not hot enough. Then didn't have the gluten free desert that was pre ordered. ......Not good enough for the price.

Went for our daughters birthday on a Wednesday afternoon. Was very disappointed with the overall experience. We were told we could not get our NHS blue light discount even though the website said we could. We paid near £100 for all our meals and drinks. Drinks from the pop machine tasted vile and we weren't told they were diet only. Our food took a while to come out and when it did my burger meal was missing half the ingredients (turkey, bacon, gravy). When I said to the waitress the burger was missing ingredients I was met with an eyeroll and not an apology. Like somehow it was my fault. She brought it back with the other ingredients but didn't bring gravy. I had to ask again and was met with another almost huff. I felt like I was the one in the wrong. But the meal was not cheap and shouldn't I get everything I ordered?Took ten mins or more to clear our plates when done. Food was not nice. Rather tastless. Our Puddings took another 15 mins to come out and we wanted to leave as we were going to run over our parking time. They said they would box the desserts. Then changed their mind, said they couldn't and brought them out as we were packing up to leave. She told us we had not been waiting that long and that the desserts take a while to decorate. She also said we would have 6 hrs free in the car park so there was no reason to leave. We had our desserts but were not impressed with the service or food at all. Will not be going back. We don't go out much for a meal but when we do we expect it to be at least pleasant.

Historically I've enjoyed Brewers Fayre but this was a disappointing experience. Food took 50 minutes to arrive after ordering. It was microwave style quality. Staff seemed really rushed and busy. Wouldn't return.

No disrespect, but it is standard fair for such an establishment, but that's a good thing, you know what your getting. That said I have say the staff day and night were fist class, attentive, polite and efficient.

Food is amazing in any Brewers Fayre, and you get a 5 star for Food. However I ordered the chicken and rib combo and asked for onions on the side. When food arrived at table there was no onions and was told we don't do onions with the salad. I said to the waitress, my order was taken with onions and I wasn't told I couldn't have them but I was sternly told we don't do onions anymore and couldn't have them. Absolutely ridiculous rule that Brewers Fayre gas brought in. You van have onions on a burger but you can't ask for onions as part of a salad. Who the hell has come up with this rule. Your food is amazing and you say I can't have onions with my meal when I ask for some. Won't be dining here again until this rule changes. Absolutely pathetic Brewers Fayre. Would love for you to explain this ridiculous rule to me. Even your staff said its ridiculous but they can't do anything about it.

2nd time in a month we've been as a family as my young nephew loves the play area. We were so pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and the service that we've decided to have a family meal here once a fortnight! Martin and his team were absolutely amazing, polite, efficient, hats off the kitchen team :)

The meals are generous sized portions and good value for the money. The staff are very pleasant when requests for extra condiments were requested. The venue lacks atmosphere, chairs are very stained and need reupholstering.Dietary restrictions: Extensive menu for dietary restricted diners

We have been really well looked after while we've been here. The food has been exceptional and the service has been friendly and professional. They've created a really warm relaxed atmosphere which puts you at ease the moment you walk in. We had both breakfast and dinner whilst we were staying at the premier Inn next door.

I came here with a friend without a reservation. At first we were shown our table. After that my friend went to order at the front desk, normally you'd wait at a table until a waiter comes by, but since we didn't book a table, this was not the case.Once he came back, my friend received his appetizer very soon, though we had to wait a pretty long time until our actual food arrived.Once it did it was allright, nothing extraordinary, but certainly not bad. I had ordered a burger, which as I said before, tasted good, though it was very unsolid and nearly fell apart right away, and I ended up eating it with a knife and fork instead of using my hands, in order to avoid making a mess.My Verdict: 6/10Not bad.

The staff are very nice. The food is a little bit basic. The vegetables were of a poor quality and, despite ordering the pie, I wasn't told that it was pie night. I would have expected to have been told.

Really nice food, and decent service. Staff could be abit smilier, although not rude. Little soft play for kids. Trio of pies was delish.Kid-friendliness: Small play area for kids

Burger was cold and burnt was obviously heated up wouldn't of fed it to my dog. The carvery was cold and meat was dry plus very rude chef saying kids can only gave one meat choice which isn't specified on the menu. Wouldn't feed my dog this food aviod if you can.

My family were visiting and stayed at the Premier Inn attached to this restaurant and I joined them for dinner.Place was busy and rather noisy with children running around and people talking. This was only to be expected in this type of restaurant. My son became unwell after ordering, but before the meal arrived, and retired to their hotel room and the restaurant staff boxed up his meal and allowed my youngest grandson to take it up to his father's room for him to eat later if he felt better. This was much appreciated by the family.Vegetarian options: My daughter-in-law is vegetarian and she had no trouble in finding a dish that she suited her.Kid-friendliness: There is a play area for younger children and free refills for Coke which the older children and adults enjoy. There is also free coffee refills available.Parking: The Ocean Plaza complex has a large parking area, part of which is for guests at the Premier Inn hotel and is free to guests. The main parking area has time limits during the day but not in the evening.Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair users can access the restaurant easily as everything is on one level, although space can be a bit crowded. The staff are there to help if necessary.Dietary restrictions: My eldest grandson has allergies and we were provided with a list of foods showing what they contained so he could clearly see what might affect him.
