Lovely independent restaurant on the high street, we came for brunch which was really good, though I think lunch / dinner will be a notch up. Will come back another time! Great

Such a lovely restaurant. The food and service at Olive Tree Bistro is excellent. The goujon starter and halloumi salad are really tasty. We also ordered chicken burger with home made chips and were really impressed. One member of our party had the ice cream and waffle, which again was excellent. All food is fresh and made from good quality ingredients. We booked for a table of four, with three of us having the lunchtime two course special and one of our party having one course. With a drink each, the bill came in under £90.

Lovely service,and great menu

Food was expensive , burnt and rubbish. Worst place I've been. Only gluten free option was a burger or haloumi burger without chips. Service was slow. £36 for 2 burgers and 2 cups of tea. Outrageous.

Three of us called on the off chance after doing a TripAdvisor search for a light lunch. We each had a different dish that were all excellent and looking at what else was coming out of the kitchen it all looked great. Very relaxed atmosphere and attentive staff.

We ate at the Olive Tree for the first time, on a baking hot Saturday at the beginning of June. Light and airy, relaxed, informal atmosphere, with friendly staff, really good food, served from a simple and unpretentious lunch menu. Our youngest son has special dietary requirements, which often means he has to go off the menu - not a problem at the Olive Tree. We look forward to returning in the future. * I can`t believe the last poster was moaning about the prices, may I suggest a cafe on the front would be more to their liking !!!!!!!!!!!!
