Where do I begin, it was my son's 16th birthday celebration and it turned out to be the same night he had an awards ceremony for school, being held at The Floral Pavilion.We needed somewhere local to book a meal afterwards. Lunch in Portofino today was the most enjoyable restaurant meal I’ve had in a long time. I ordered Gamberi in Padella for a starter, and the first taste brought me one of those wow moments of intense flavour that you remember. The main course of Ravioli Formagio was delicious too, complemented by a glass of Trebbiano Arché. The waiter and waitress were friendly and welcoming, which adds to the enjoyment of any restaurant meal.

The food was lovely, well prepared, presented and hot. The staff were attentive and friendly. The atmosphere was nice and the prices were reasonable. We were a large group and despite all our meals taking a while to arrive it all came out at the same time for us all to eat together. I would definitely visit again.
