Visited Franklyns for the first time last night with my wife. Towards the end of the evening there was an incident between 2 groups of ladies. I believe a handbag had been stolen, perhaps some other items too.The security team were a disgrace. They handled the situation appallingly, they were abrupt, dismissive and awfully rude. We were shocked. If a member of my team behaved like that towards a paying customer who had been violated on my premises then they'd be furious.I strongly advice you look at your staff, we will not returning. My wife wants want to feel safe whilst out, i suspect the lady who had her bag stolen wont be returning either.

Overall we had a good night. The service was excellent and the drinks and cocktails were fab! So we left a good tip. My 2 criticisms - I like to eat off dinner plates, not narrow oval shaped plastic baskets that are as wide as your burger. Food was filling but pretty basic. Second criticism - it’s a busy, lively place which shows its a good venue, but for people who are dining, the music was getting louder and louder throughout the evening meaning more and more people were having to shout over each other! After our food we went across the road to drink and carry on our evening somewhere where we could hear each other speak.

Visited Franklyns for the first time today and had absolutely incredible Sunday lunch, 15 pounds, with dessert. Could not fault it. Food, Staff, ambiance, venue all 5 star. We will definitely be back.
