Overall we had a good night. The service was excellent and the drinks and cocktails were fab! So we left a good tip. My 2 criticisms - I like to eat off dinner plates, not narrow oval shaped plastic baskets that are as wide as your burger. Food was filling but pretty basic. Visited Franklyns for the first time today and had absolutely incredible Sunday lunch, 15 pounds, with dessert. Could not fault it. Food, Staff, ambiance, venue all 5 star. We will definitely be back.
I went for a meal last week with a friend and next day when I checked my receipt I realised we had been charged for someone else's drinks as well as our own. I phoned Franklin's and spoke to Paddy the manager and he couldn't have been nicer or more helpful, to be honest I was expecting the bums rush as I suppose I should have queried the amount on the night, but I was way off the mark.
