The best takeaway Indian's I've had since moving from Manchester. Food is always fresh and hot, usually arriving early and delivered with a smile in any weather.The curries are delicious, the starters with amazing taste, and appear to be handmade. Naan's are slightly small but make up for it in flavour and are perfect for a meal, they just never last for the rest if the curry and starters the next day!Price is amazing for the quality, will continue ordering again and again!

We got a takeaway from Shahjalal tonight. We ordered poppadoms, butter chicken, Mariska, rice, naan bread, bombay potatoes and onion bjahis. This was honestly one of the best Indian takeaways we have ever had! Food was out of this world, full of flavour, absolutely amazing. First time trying here but this is now going to be our 'go to' takeaway! The staff are so friendly too and advised us on the best dishes to have. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed!!! ??

Bought one egg noodles and chicken biryani. The worst biriyani I had in my life. Felt like they mixed some chicken in veg rice. And the egg fried rice didn't have salt. We couldn't eat both dishes. Very bad experience.

This Indian takeaway is the best outside of India. Have been ordering food from here for years never had a bad one.The portions are generous and the food is always hot.The prices are very reasonable and if there's anything that's not on the menu they will happily accommodate you if possible.They now do delivery.

Tried this place as my usual go to Indian was closed. I think this is now my go to place. Food was delicious and portions really good. Delivery was as very timely and arrived nice and hot. Can't fault at all.

Ordered a takeaway....took ages to come and when it did finally arrive everything was really cold...chips soggy, nann bread was that cold it was hard. Would never order from here again.

This is by far the best Indian around! Every meal we have ordered here has been gorgeous. Always piping hot, great portion sizes and absolutely delicious. The staff / drivers are lovely and polite and couldn't be more helpful. We ordered this evening and one of our bags had been accidentally forgotten. Called up and they were round within minutes with it. 100% recommend.

Very disappointing. In the past this takeaway has been good. Today's Lamb tikka garlic chilli was really poor. Meat was gristly, sauce tasteless, just runny brown.

Fantastic food, highly recommended!We had the chicken balti and the chicken jalfrezi and both were superb. The flavour of the chicken balti was one of the best I have ever had. The jalfrezi was spicy but not so that it overshadowed the lovely flavour of it. The onion bhajis were crisp and everything came piping hot. Value for money was fantastic as well.Service was also fantastic - everyone was very friendly and tended to all our needs with speed.Not sure where the one star reviews are coming from - they must have reviewed for the wrong restaurant!
