Was there today and it as an amazing afternoon. Pub was very clean, staff where so friendly and welcoming as soon as we went in. Drinks where perfect, they where hosting a weekly local event for those pensioners in need due to cost of living, who could be in need of hot or cold drinks and hot or cold food. Staff went out of their way to help everyone, they had entertainment on in the form of disco, karaoke and even games of bingo. Never seen so much effort put in to help locals...read full review
Fantastic atmosphere, the managers are lovely people and rhe food is amazing. There is entertainment on nearly every night, whether it's a quiz, open night mic or karaoke, there is always something happening. Well worth a visit

About 16 family members popped into this wonderful family pub after a very sad funeral. We were met with very sensitive caring staff who, unbeknown to us prepared a free roast dinner every monday for their community.We were welcomed to join in. it is years since I actually visited this pub but the whole family 3 generations were able to reflect and raise a glass to a beloved great grandad.We highly recommend ?
