I would have given a 4.5 if I could! First time here and we weren’t disappointed, the staff were very friendly and attentive and the food was very good, my reason for less than a 5 was the main was served on a stone cold plate! I’ve not eaten in a restaurant that doesn’t warm the plates for years.

Popped in recently for a meal, they were very busy but we're able to just fit us in.Staff are always very friendly and accommodating.Food was lovely, I will be coming here again soon.Thank you to all of The Red Lion Staff for a fantastic evening.

Had a great evening at the Red Lion last night, good vegan choices only disappointment was I couldn't try the vegan crumble as I was so full after the great starter and main. Friendly staff and a lovely twist between modern and country pub.Vegetarian options: At least 2 vegan options for starters and mains with vegan versions of other dishes available.

Lovely food and plenty of it. The service was excellent. The only downside is not fully accessible as I'm disabled, and someone had parked right next to ramp blocking it off.

A lovely little country village pub. We enjoyed a very nice Friday evening dinner here, good enough to warrant the effort of writing a review. The food was first rate, and and definitely on a level above what you’d expect from a pub kitchen. The bar staff were really friendly and attentive and the atmosphere in the pub itself was warm and welcoming. Highly recommended.

We stopped off for something to eat whilst waiting for our nearby glamping in. The roast dinners looked and smelt great and my wife said that the roast pork was amazing. Love that they had a decent low alcohol beer (old speckled hen) and the burger and fries were great, nice and juicy with a great chilli jam

We were a large group and had booked for a special birthday. Our meals were absolutely lovely and HUGE. The surroundings were lovely, tasteful, and clean. The staff were happy, polite, and accommodating. The food was well presented, and delicious. I can see why this place is so popular and I just wish I lived closer!

We had an excellent meal here. It’s lovely and cosy and staff are wonderful. The food is delicious and varied and came out within good time. The mushroom risotto was amazing. Would definitely recommend and would like to come back!

We had our family Christmas meal here. We were a group of 16. We booked in advance and the menu looked really good . We had Calamari as a starter. This was crispy, tasty and well presented. We had Pork beef and venison stew for our main. This was brilliant! There was loads of meat in it and the dumplings were so tasty. To finish this off, we had cheesecake for dessert. This did not disappoint, probably the best cheesecake I have had from a restaurant.

Just had a lovely meal here for Norfolk Restaurant Week. Fantastic food and lovely service. We can't wait to come back and try the normal menu! P.S. OMG the salted caramel creme brulé was amazing

We went to The Red Lion yesterday for Sunday lunch to celebrate my sister's birthday. The food was fantastic, the staff attentive and the pub itself was lovely. Prices were not expensive even though the portions were generous, even the child size roast for my 4yr old little boy was a fair size. Definitely worth a visit and will certainly go back.

Popped in for Sunday lunch on the way to Norwich. Had a fantastic meal. Everything from start to finish was exceptionally good and the roast was huge. If you're in area or even 30 mins away it's well worth a visit!
