Great food, reasonable prices, great location. The staff were lovely and very professional. Harvey's beer excellent. Will visit again. A stand out treat for me was the wonderful onion rings with the sausage and mash! The halloumi burger was fabulous. Service was quick.
Quintessentially a lovely 17th Century Inn that is just slightly off the main road, but not difficult to find. Has a certain ambience and the food ordered was superb, good service also (would have given it 5 stars, but it lost the final point because of when asking for the bill I was given the total amount, then when I paid was given the receipt which showed me that this included a 10% optional service charge, which of course wasn't given the option, that was naughty business...read full review

Lovely Sunday roast and friendly table service let down by all male regulars sat along the length of the bar, so only able to order at the far end and they were loud and quite distracting from what would have been a perfect Sunday afternoon pub visit.
