Wow stopped for lunch several times now,best tomatoe soup that hav ever had,and my husbands burger was the best,wonderfull pub,will b taking our friends there soon in the evening this time,..
I've eaten here a number of times. It's menu is comprehensive and the food good. However this review is for the accommodation. It's a beautiful old building in which to say. I was in the spacious en suite room. I love the fact that its old character remains. It hasn't been turned into a bland corporate hotel look that so many pubs have copied. What a great place to take a few friends for dinner and a very good pint. A lovely building with an amazing history. Nice bar staff and the chubby jovial chef is very good at his trade. Loved it. Loads of parking space too.
