Lovely country pub with superb food/beer & a very warm welcome. We stayed for the weds curry night - the meal was absolutely delicious & portion size generous! We would highly recommend & will definitely return in future :-)
What a wonderful jewel of a pub. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We had the crown burgers which were delicious. Beer was great. We were lucky enough to sit in the bar where they filmed the Detectorists. Cannot praise this pub highly enough.

Sunday roast plus a veggie. They have a separate veggie menu, which was much appreciated. Food was really nice especially the gravy and the veggie gravy was particularly remarked upon.Unpretentious, decent quantities great atmosphere and nice folk running it. Nice walks nearby.Will be back.
