I only found out after visiting this Takeaway that it has a 1 ⭐️ Hygiene Food Rating in need of Major Improvement from the Foods Standards Agency in May 2023. I will now definitely avoid this Takeaway.Had Kebab, Fish & Chips, & Burger & Chips, service was poor, as gentleman serving was finding it difficult to understand my order. Prices were different inside to what were shown outside.Upon returning home found the following:Kebab was swimming in orange grease/fat, the Kebab was on top of the salad which made the salad inedible, so threw it away as overall it was in edible.Burger was overcooked and charred in places, daughter took a bit and the burger was very tough to break up. The Chips tasted poor, as if the Cooking Fat had not been changed.Fish, more batter than fish, & Chips tasting as if cooked in burnt fat.Overalls poor experience, & the Pub next door wasn’t much better.Will be avoiding in future, & visiting the Kings Head in Belton.

730pm on a sat night thought ah it will be busy and the food cooked fresh.Nope.Dry manky chips, curry sauce like water.. We ordered 2 large size chips only got one. Useless, gave them another try after a bad meal a few years ago but never again.

We had a chicken kebab and a lamb shish kebab and a portion of chips. It was awful, the chicken had been put on top of the salad which turned it into warm mush which we had to bin. The chips were greasy, soggy and cold. The lamb kebab was also greasy and soggy and described as rank by my partner. £25 and a total waste.

Stopped here the other night on the way home, Got to be the worst food and most unhygienic take away I’ve ever been in.Simply binned the food.Don’t waste your money or time going to this place.

The fish was not fresh the batter was stodgy, chips were terrible and the curry sauce was pre packed and had been in the cabinet keeping warm and the middle was solid. The shop itself filthy not great in the slightest!

Ordered fish and chips for myself and husband and it was absolutely vile….. the fish was swimming in Greece the batter was dark in colour as if it had been re-fried but was soggy the chips was like scraping of the bottom of the fryer I rang to complain and was told. It was freshly cooked it most definitely wasn’t. They did say they would send more but I said no thank you!!!! Will never buy from there ever again
