Kin Cafe
28 Queen's Rd, Hethersett, NorwichAs a Hethersett resident, I am guilty of walking my dog past here so I can enjoy a coffee and cake. The coffee here is really good and my parents adore the spiced apple cake. Generally speaking, I'm not a huge brownie lover, but Kin's melts on your tongue and is big enough to be shared. I try to avoid lunchtime because it can be very busy, but this just shows that local people and workers love this place! There's always an outside seating area cordoned off, and this is great if you're like me and own a large happy dog with a tail that is prone to breaking things. It's great having this little gem in Hethersett!

The Orangery Tea Room
Ketteringham Hall, Church Rd, WymondhamWhen I heard about The Orangery, I expected a Victorian ornate, glazed timber building, The Orangery is not that. The Orangery is a lovely tea room with a partially covered outside space, it is dog friendly outside and offers a great range of cakes and savouries. We had amazing sausage rolls, which came with salad and coleslaw, and cake along with coffees and tea.The gardens and lake are glorious and well worth a walk.
