It really is a lovely place out in the Norfolk countryside. Once parked you walk around a huge country Manor and then you see it. I can't fault it at all. There were 4 of us 2 had a savoury afternoon tea and the other 2 a afternoon cream tea. Both were beautifully served and the food gorgeous. Thoroughly
Absolutely lovely experience this morning at the Orangery! We booked a table for three in the Marquee and it was toasty warm with the heaters and amazing views across the gardens onto the lake.I ordered the gluten free pancakes with bananas, mixed berries and chocolate sauce. It was delicious! The pancakes were fluffy and the berries were fresh. When I heard about The Orangery, I expected a Victorian ornate, glazed timber building, The Orangery is not that.The Orangery is a lovely tea room with a partially covered outside space, it is dog friendly outside and offers a great range of cakes and savouries.We had amazing sausage rolls, which came with salad and coleslaw, and cake along with coffees and tea.The gardens and lake are glorious and well worth a walk.
