2 Bridewell St, WymondhamDietary restrictions: I was so impressed to be given the option of having a gluten free roast and pudding, its the first time I've been able to eat the same meal, adapted, as my husband and friends ever.. usually I'm only offered a roast without the Yorkshires, without the cheese sauce, all the best bits of a roast...and usually I'm offered ice cream or a brownie for dessert.....so many many thanks for the effort. We will definitely be back and 100 percent recommend, you were all so lovely too....

Town Grn, WymondhamA lovely warm welcome which we much appreciated as it seems to be a rarity at pubs and restaurants these days. Landlady made us feel welcome and made time to chat with us. A pint of cider and larger priced at under £10.00 is great value these days. Two Lamb shank meals for £30.00 is phenomenal value when you consider a burger meal is generally around the same price. The Boars
Bunwell Rd, Spooner Row, WymondhamFirst visit for an evening meal for five of us. Need to book as it's a popular place. They have a bar with a good range of beers etc. but it's more of an eatery than an actual local pub. Parking is tight and on a junc. Roadside parking is available but on narrowish roads. Food was excellent & we all felt it was some of the best we'd had out for a long while. Not cheap (£19) for fish of the day - but I'd have it again because it was beautifully cooked & the accompanying veg & butter sauce (beurre blanc) was simply delicious. They obviously have a great chef - & the venison was outstanding. Will be going back.

25 Market St, WymondhamStaff very friendly and helpful. Food DELICIOUS! We can thoroughly recommend the macaroni cheese and lasagne! Also the tea is served in proper tea pots and actually tastes like tea, (a good colour and strength).

29 Market St, WymondhamLovely food in a lovely pub. The staff couldn't have been more helpful as they moved a table to accommodate us, really enjoyed it here. I've not had liver and onions for ages and it was great. Would have liked a little veg with it. Loved a nice crumble for dessert which would been perfect with a little more custard. But I'd definitely eat here again ?

13 Market Pl, WymondhamMy wife and I booked a meal in the restaurant last night . We had great service from friendly attentive staff. My wife chose Scampi and Chips . The portion was generous, served with chunky chips and crunchy but tender scampi . I had a sirloin steak again with lovely chunky chips and a really tasty perfectly cooked steak . We also shared a chocolate brownie with ice cream and cream which was delicious . The bill came to £49 which we thought was good value including a couple of drinks . The atmosphere was welcoming and we would definitely go again to try one their pizzas cooked in the wood fired oven !

The food is outstanding and the service has always been spotless. One time, the owner was trying a new dish. He asked me to sample it free of charge. It was delicious!

6 Church St, WymondhamSo, as anybody who is from this area, this beautiful pub has been through the ‘Mill’ over the last couple of years……. Changes of ownership, management etc have never brought it back to its hey day years…… However, it’s recently been taken over, but this time to a team that obviously care! It’s clean! Really clean! The Ale is fantatstic and there is now a really lovely atmosphere once again…… ‘Nova’ the landlords dog is a delight, as is Kieron and Kayleigh who also run The White Hart it seems….. Food is planned to return soon with a plated roast on a Sunday which we all cannot wait for!!! So, if you want to be warmed by real fires, a happy atmosphere and love real ale like myself, then, happily, The Dragon is well and truly back on the list of pubs to frequent in Wymondham!!!

I saw the pub coming home from the station the other night and I'm so pleased I did - popped in for a drink, lovely staff, decor and atmosphere so came back a few days later for lunch.The food is fabulous. Good size portions so bring a good appetite!Well cooked, tasty, on point every time - scampi is often not crunchy, poorly cooked - these were deliciously crispy on the outside and lovely inside,tender but not squishy (or tough cos overcooked), ideal combi, and my friend's burger was perfect - as were all the sides and the pud. Yes, it's 'pub grub' if you like but it's 1) pretty perfectly cooked 2) excellent choices, including for veggies and vegans.Staff are fab. I see some people mentioned it's expensive, I absolutely refute that - 6 large glasses wine (!??), 2 large and very good coffees, 2 fabulous mains with more than we could eat and a pud - less than 60. I mean. If you think that's expensive then you've probably never left your village and don't even think about going to Ireland, Luxembourg, Scandinavia (or anywhere outside your village).Right, so, I've gone on so I have. Thanks a million, we'll be back. You who are reading this - go visit and we'll see ye there ?Vegetarian options: Great choice, both veggie and vegan. Ye will absolutely not be disappointed.

( im sure they weren't but it's the initial thought)Wheelchair accessibility: Because this is the old jobcentre it's got the disabled ramp which is good.
